National Writing Project CEU Courses

Strategies for Close Analysis of Literary Texts and Narrative Writing

This course is designed by the South Mississippi Writing Project, offers instruction in teaching reading of literature and narrative writing in grades 3-10. The material stresses the skills of vocabulary building, comprehension, and writing. The strategies taught are aligned with the Mississippi MCCR Standards and the MAAP Writing Rubric. Participants earn 3.0 CEUs.

Routine Writing to Create a Culture of Writers

This course is designed by the National Writing Project, offers instruction in increasing writing fluency in grades 3-10. The material offers multiple strategies for including daily writing for a variety of purposes to improve reading, vocabulary, and writing skills. the Mississippi MCCR Standards and the MAAP Writing Rubric. The strategies taught are aligned with the Mississippi MCCR Standards. Participants earn 3.0 CEUs.
